HIPAA Compliance Statement

At Elite Medical Care, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of health information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and all applicable federal and state privacy laws.

As a Management Services Organization (MSO), our role is strictly administrative. We do not provide medical care, direct clinical activity, or participate in treatment decisions. However, in the course of providing administrative support to independent healthcare providers, we uphold the highest standards of privacy and security. Specifically, we:

• Maintain strict administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect any Protected Health Information (PHI) we may encounter while providing support services
• Execute Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with independent healthcare entities when applicable under HIPAA
• Implement internal policies and procedures designed to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of PHI
• Conduct ongoing staff training and regular risk assessments to maintain compliance
• Use secure, encrypted systems and tools for all electronic transmissions involving PHI, consistent with HIPAA Security Rule requirements
• Respect patients' rights to access, correct, and protect their health information
